Welcome to 2010:

Hi Seals!!!

It is almost time to register for swim team! We will be sending a shout out soon thru Yahoo to visit our NEW team management site, TEAM UNIFY, for you to register for the 2010 season. We are in the process of setting up the new site, so until then, continue to check www.RMST.org for updates. The meet and social calendar is current and posted here on this site right now! Please check it before you make your summer vacation plans. We built in some times purposely without scheduled meets so families can take a vacation without missing anything. Of course, there might still be some changes but we will do our best to keep the calendar as it is shown here. When we transfer over to TEAM UNIFY, please check the calendar again to note any changes.

Please hold Thursday, April 22 from 6-9pm open on your calendar. That night we will be having a kick off nite at Sports Basement. There will be a new family orientation meeting, coach introductions, help with understanding TEAM UNIFY, food and fun! Sports Basement will have the store open for us to browse and shop with a discount that night as well. Come when you can and stay as long as you like....

We are looking forward to seeing you all again this summer!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just in… Hot off the presses…

SEALS earned 3rd place in Division 3 out of 17 teams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND… Take a look at the Division 2 scores, where we would have come in 14th out of 23 teams. And, also look at the great teams that we beat in both Divisions 2 and 3 (including other conference teams - Indian Valley , Rudgear Estates and Walnut Heights !!). The teams in Division 2 that we beat had more swimmers entered and WE STILL OUT-SCORED them!!!!!!!! Notice that we were only 1 POINT OUT OF 2nd PLACE !!!!!!!!!!!

I was already on a HIGH because our swimmers did so well (even though we had a small amount of swimmers compared to other teams), and some of our swimmers got into finals and consolations. But, now I’ve SHOT OFF TO THE MOON and hope to come back to earth by next swim season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a season we’ve had, SEALS!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!

A HUGE THANKS to all the families who participated in County Meet and to Cathy Witkay who spent her time in Lafayette the morning after conference meet getting everyone entered!!!!

I’ll type another note during the week giving the rest of the results and names of those who swam consolations and finals, but I just couldn’t wait to share this wonderful news with you all!!!!

RMST is one of 62 recreational swim teams located in Contra Costa County. County. The home pool is located at 2400 Stewart Avenue in Walnut Creek. The Seals team includes over 100 swimmers ranging in age from 4 to 18. As a recreational team, the primary emphasis of the club is for the swimmers to have fun and to experience the personal rewards that result from working hard to reach their individual potential. While many of our members are families from the Rudgear Homeowners Association, we also have swimmers from other parts of Walnut Creek, Alamo and other adjacent cities.
